David Letterman and the gospel

Dr. Russell Moore, Dean of the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY and author of “Moore to the Point,” writes a great article concerning David Letterman and his recent “confession” on his show the other night.  I watched snippets of the show, but didn’t know what to make of it besides certain truths such as your sin will eventually find you out (what you do in darkness will be exposed by the lightof Christ) and all of us stand condemned as sinners before a holy God.  And though David Letterman’s sin is now public, in a sense, all of our’s one day will be public.  So, I’m thankful for Dr. Moore’s article, but I’m even more thankful for Christ and His sacrifice for my sins.  May that truth never get old and may it compel me to live faithfully unto Him in all that I do.
