I, along with several of my fellow pastors, had the privilege of meeting and talking with Dr. Ed Stetzer this past week at the Youth Pastor Summit in Orlando, FL (thanks to Dr. Jimmy Scroggins) – he’s a brilliant man (Dr. Stetzer…and Jimmy too!) with an astute insight for trends within the Christian culture, particularly the church-at-large. But I’m actually not going to discuss any of that, though in the future I hope to. On his blog he shares some questions that I believe are helpful for men who want to engage with other men for the purposes of accountability.
Accountability is a necessity if you want to live out the gospel with integrity and faithfulness. All of us fall short on a daily basis and we all desperately need other men to encourage and rebuke us; it’s painful at times, but truly, an absolute necessity.
