There’s a lot of spurious claims out there concerning the percentage of high schoolers that leave the church after graduating.  That issue isn’t the focus of this post, but rather what traits characterize students that actually do stay in the church.  To that end, read this article by Jon Nielson.  He writes succinctly, convincingly, and biblically concerning this ever-present issue that is of the utmost seriousness regarding.  Enjoy and reflect in what capacity God can use you to foster these traits in the youth in your own family and at your church.
