who is the Senior Pastor of University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan on a book by Brian Croft (who pastors right across the river in Louisville, KY) entitled “Visit the Sick: Ministering God’s Grace in Times of Illness“, something I do fairly regularly.  Croft gives us a three-fold approach to visiting those who are sick.  That three-fold approach involves speaking a theological, pastoral and practical word to those you are visiting.  His comments were extremely balanced, as well as helpful.
